Weekend with Hazel & The Sweetest Sound

On Saturday, Josh and Tricia called from their weekend getaway to tell us that Grandpa & Grammie B. were taking care of Hazel. Hazel is like 12 toddlers rolled into one. They decided that if they were all going to make it through the weekend, they would hire their other granddaughter, Alana to come play with Hazel for the weekend. That is way too funny, and very recourceful!
Last night we were on the phonewith our son, Brandon. When he got home, Audrey was talking up a storm. So he had her get on the phone to say all her words. She said "Grandma" clear as a bell. Can I tell you it just melted my heart. She is such an adorable little sweetheart! I am so thankful for technology!

  1. Good Morning!

Are you using Skype or Voovoo on your computer so your family can see you and talk to you at the same time? We love visiting with our family in VA. Our granddaughters show us their webkinz and school work. We really like the programs.

    Your babies are beautiful!

  2. Alicia,
Thanks for coming by and the info on Jiggs....
Wonder if that comic strip is like our 'pickles' in the paper today.
Hate to admit it, but i can relate to some of their situations. Not sure if it is because we are just past min-life (I'm 60 now), or because we have been married 40 years. =0))

Thanks for the 'welcome back' also.

    Blessings,
    Barbara Jean

  3. Thank you for stopping in over at our family blog. Just want to drop you a note and say how much I love the name Hazel. Funny how names have their cycles. I would dare say that those naming their daughters "Hazel" never saw the show "Hazel."

Next week I will be serving 52 Hartford, Connecticut missionaries from the zone. My husband is the Ward Mission Leader and I serve as Compassionate Service Leader, so between us, we see the missionaries a lot.
