  2. Hello Sister Robbins! I missed you! Wow, transfers, sounds hectic. You sound like you can benefit from some "dirt therapy" like I did today. It was so fun gardening with the kids while it was lightly sprinkling! They were calling each other vegetable and flower names in Spanish like "pipino" or cucumber, tomate or tomato and "yasmin" for Jasmine. I have a Jasmine plant that is native to the Philippines. It dies out during the cold months and comes back like clockwork during the warmer months. It also loves rain!

No, my major is in Elementary Education, but I'm taking Public Admin to better understand the politics behind public schools. Also, I'll be taking some Sociology classes to understand student & family dynamics. I want to understand how families truly perceive early education through expectations manifested in their children's academic progress. I want to test out the "babysitter" vs. "being educated" theory I picked up on Educational Psychology.

Sorry this is long; told you I missed ya! ;-)
