Our Valentine returned to us for a short visit on the 14th of February. Chrissy finished her mission to the Florida, Fort Lauderdale. Her visit was 13 days and much too short, but she was anxious to get back and begin her regular life again. She is working at Presidio Insurance again, with a nice raise and her own office. She is deciding whether to go back to the Singles Branch or to a Student Ward, and is getting ready to return to school in the summer.

Chrissy is living with her Grandpa Clawson and enjoys being with her family and friends again as well as her two new little neices.

A few days ago we filled the suet feeder and put it out on the tree for the woodpeckers. The next morning we woke up to find the entire thing gone. We thought it would have to be a racoon that took it, as we didn't think the smaller animals could lift it off and carry it away. WERE WE WRONG!!! Yesterday I looked out the window to find Hammy the squirrel trying to make off with the new suet feeder. Enjoy the show "Squirrel Gone Mad"

Our beautiful little Audrey was blessed on the 2nd of March. She is such a sweet baby.

Our sweet little Audrey is a month old today. As of last Friday, she weighed in at 5lbs. 13oz.

As the President and I have been in Ohio for 5 months now. We have had the opportunity to know much more than we did before concerning the history of the church in The Ohio.

Beginning with the 60th section of the Doctrine and Covenants, verses 6&7, "And from thence let my servants, Sidney Rigdon, Joseph Smith, Jun., and Oliver Cowdery, take their journey for Cincinnati: And in this place let them lift up their voice and declare my word with loud voices, without wrath or doubting, lifting up holy hands upon them".

Cincinnati was prominent on the path west to Jackson County Missouri (Which means that it is likely that Moses Clawson would have passed through here).

Not only were Sidney Rigdon, Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery, three of the most prominent leaders in the early in the early mormon church, called to labor in Cincinnati, but so were others including Parley P. Pratt, Peter Whitmer, Ziba Peterson, W.W. Phelps, Lyman Wight, Orson Pratt, Wilford Woodruff, and Orson Hyde. Starting in December 1830, Mormon missionaries have endeavored, desppite occasional setbacks and misunderstadings, to share the message of Mormonism with the good citizens of Cincinnati on a regular, nearly continuous basis.

On the first Saturday in November the Sisters of the mission had a conference which included a service project for most of the day. They assembled "rice bags" for all the missionaries, which can be kept cold in the freezer and used on injuries; and then microwaved when heat is needed. They passed them out at the Christmas Multi-zone Conference. We also had a lunch as well as testimonies of the Mission President Wives. There were pictures and games in the backyard, as the weather was beautiful. We even managed to end on time.

Tricia and Hazel got to stay with us while Josh and Dan moved them back to Salt Lake. We got to have them for 4 and a half days. What a huge blessing!!!

Here is our little Hazel. She is so precious and we are glad to add her to our family. We love her so much. Josh and Tricia's little angel arrived on the 14th, after 24 hours of labor and a c-section. I am so thankful that they invited me to come share her arrival with them.
